Before, During, and After Surgery
We focus on pain management, the safety of the pet and high-quality technical skill of the surgeon. It is a requirement for all of our surgical patients to receive a pre-surgical blood work, which shows us how the internal organs are functioning. This allows us to make the best decision possible before putting a pet under anesthesia. There are vital organs that process the anesthesia and if they are not functioning properly, it could be devastating to your pet. Each pet is monitored before, during, and post-surgery to ensure their safety and that they are well taken care of. Our staff will be sure to give you a call as soon as the procedure is over and let you know how everything went.
Postoperative Care Instructions
Once your pet is ready to go home, one of the members from the surgical team will go over postoperative instructions with you as well as medication instructions. We encourage any and all questions be asked at any time. Our staff is dedicated to helping you through the healing process, so if any questions arise after your pet is home please give us a call! We know that surgery can be very stressful for our clients, but rest assured that we will take all precautions to make sure that the surgical procedure and healing process go smoothly.
